Ooooh.

This bad boy is on ebay with a no-reserve auction, currently bidding at $102.50. This has been your boom lift porn for the evening; we now return you to your scheduled programming.

  1. I'll bet the shipping costs would be the killer, though, even if it's close enough for you to drive and collect it yourself.

On the other hand, you could probably re-sell it when you're done with it. There's all that gutter work to dela with, after all.

  2. It's in California, unfortunately. Which, granted, would be an excellent excuse for a road trip - which I've been planning anyway - but yeah, trailer plus boom lift on the way back would suck down the gas. It would come in handy if there were any signage repair necessary on the road, though.

  3. Freight would be about $1500.

  4. I have a vision of you checking out the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, the Cowboy Museum in Norman, OK, and other noteworthy spots between California and Indiana. With the boomlift.

  5. My wife is not terribly excited by the idea. But on the other hand she didn't really understand what I meant by "boom lift", and as she is offline whilst in Hungary, I can't send her a picture.

The Grand Canyon is cool. But the Grand Canyon with a boom lift? Cool squared.
